Soft Start on Air Conditioner May Fail and Overheat
Jayco is recalling eight 2024 Pinnacle and North Point fifth-wheels due to a soft start device on the air conditioner that may fail and overheat.
Remedy
Jayco is currently working on a solution for this issue. In the meantime it recommends owners have the ICM870-16A-BHS5400 soft start removed from their air conditioners. Jayco expects to have owner notification letters in the mail on January 03, 2025. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at (800) 283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is 9901615.
