This is a stupid request so please forgive me. My outside grill gas port has been tested and everything checks out with 12psi. When I attach the port to grill hose, I get no gas to grill. I have gas for everything else. I replaced the quick-connect hose with screw in to grill. Still no gas to grill. Is there a special quick connect hose that I need to buy? Thanks!

Make sure you are not double regulating the gas. Did you remove the regulator from the grill you are connecting to the Quick Connect port?

Only certain grills have separate control and regulator
I converted our Weber Q. It was one of the few with separate units. The integrated control and regulator was more the norm.
Also had one quick connect that would not pass gas when connected. Changed it out worked fine.

YMMV

ahill61, as mentioned earlier, you cannot run two regulators on the same line therefore, take the one on the grill out. HOSE, you must have all your GAS connections be compression fittings otherwise, no flow. Hope this helps. SKIDAWG
