My wife just wanted the top, but you could easily do both. Here is the description/part from Amazon.

I did replace the flimsy paneling on the cabinet bottom with plywood, and added a piece of scrap 1x2 above the unit for the built-in stop to hit.

Where did you get the lights. My built in tap lights are to far forward and are useless for reading. Also, how to did you get the power to the lights?

Yes, my tap lights are too far forward also. I placed these lights about 3 inches forward of the front wall and 15" in on each side from the wardrobe wall.

The floor of the overhead cabinet above the bed is simply a piece of paneling. There is a space between that piece of paneling and the piece of paneling that you are looking up at when lying in bed. The wires that power the tap lights are run pretty loosely through that space.

I was able to use a putty knife to pop the inside piece of paneling up. I just propped it up so I could work.

I used a 7/8 hole bit, and drilled where I stated above. I used theses type connectors and just tapped into the existing wires:
