My Dad, US Navy, WWII Pacific theater. Past Post Commander of VFW and American Legion, Loved the USA, a real patriot. He passed 24 yrs ago. I miss him a bunch. -Lee

My Dad US Army 8th Armored Division 1942-1946, only 5 left from his division today.
My Son US Army 62nd Transporation Division - Deployed to Afganistan until 10/11.

From 8yrs old my son used to spend hours talking to his grandfather about the Army. They used to go over his silver and bronze star letters and all his pins and patches. So you never know what kind of an impression your time leaves on someone.

Joined the Canadian military at 16 years of age (I was a Soldier Apprentice) in the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RCEME). I was a Weapons Technician and spent 13 years in a military uniform 1957-1970. I had two tours in Germany and was one of the first to arrive in Germany to supplement our Brigade when the Berlin wall went up in Aug. 61. Best year of my life.
 
USMC Viet Nam 1966-1967. Bulk fuel MOS. Set up 10,000 gallon rubber tank fuel systems in Quan Tri, Da Nang, Phu Bai, and Dong Ha Viet Nam, Northern I Corp.

US Marine Corp for four years. Viet Nam 1968-1969 as Aircraft Electrician.
After Marine Corp, worked 32 more years as a civilian for the Dept of the Army as Aircraft Inspector and Project Manager for major Aircraft Repair Contractor.

US Air Force 1971 to 1975. US Army (active duty) 1978 to 1999 as a helicopter pilot. Still fly for the Army as a civilian.

Active US Army Warrant Officer....1986-Present. Currently back in the 82nd Airborne at Ft. Bragg, NC. Veteran of Desert Storm and Iraq. Once I hit 30 years...it's RVing full time!
