2020 26XD Class C. The idler side, non motor side of my awning, sounds like it needs to be lubricated. The head cover has 2 pins, that look like the oval end of cotter pins. Apparently I need to remove these pins to get the covers off. The pins are not thght, I can spin them around. I don't know what they are for, and I don't want to mess the thing up. I have checked out the awning and can't find the maker. Is it OK to pull these pins and continue to work or are they holding a spring or something in place and should be left alone. There are a lot of posts concerning Awnings but I couldn't find one that answers this pin.

I can take a picture with my cell phone, but after that I have no idea how to transfer it here.
Quite honestly, I'm lucky I know how to take the picture!!! LOL.. I'll do some research and see if I can figure out this picture thing.

When you post or respond to post, up top in the tools section of the post
dialogue box, you'll see a paperclip icon....click on that and you will see options on what you can upload....

Thanks I will play around with that. Also I found the information I needed. The awning label was on the cloth tube, The awning had to be enrolled beyond the point that I usually unroll to see the label.. It's a "Carefree Travel'r ". I just had to undo the screws and remove the cover that is opposite those pins. Those pins are for alignment purposes.
Well it's all lube up an ready for use.,
Thanks for the help. Now on to pictures.
