Why are 2 and 3 year old polls with no new posts showing up as unread new posts?

Someone probably checked a box or made a selection without leaving a post. Making the selection triggered it as unread.

Click on the thread you want to block, click on thread tools, click on ignore thread. You won't see that thread anymore.
