Hi all. I just read an article on pop up camper maintenance. Other than packing the wheel bearings, what other maintenance should I do for my 1992 Jayco 1006 deluxe? Other than washing the camper, checking the tires, I haven't greased anything else. Should I be lubing other components? Got me wondering what I'm not doing correctly. Doah! Any other tips or advice? My pop up is pretty simple. No air. No electric fridge, no toilet. Pretty basic pull out with heater. Should I be greasing pulley's, bed sliders, crank, etc?

It has been 15 years since my last popup was traded in but all I did was:
Used some wax on the bed slides, no oil or grease that can get inside.
Got under and checked springs and wiring to make sure all secure.
Greased the pulley wheels I could reach.
Greased the winding mechanism.
Greased the tongue jack.
Dab of grease before each trip on the ball.

Inspect canvas seems, zips, etc.
Treated vinyl bed ends with awning treatment after cleaning, same for awning.

All I can think of for now.

Buy a set of pop up gizmos. Your trailer will thank you and last many years longer in addition to it ending condensation when camping in cooler weather months.
