Portable Air Compressor

this is a popular thread this week. I bought one of these. from Amazon for my "me to me" Christmas present. For my first test I filled Six 15" trailer tires from 20psi up to 55psi, put a couple PSI in my RV tires, topped off 2 cars that were a little low and my motorcyle tires. that used about 40% of the battery. But not sure about the 100psi you asked for. And its simple, set the pressure on front, press button 2x (1 to check pressure, 1 to inflate tire) and it turns on until it hits your pressure and shuts off. small enough to carry around under the seat of truck.

Not sure about your unit but where these small compressors really struggle is anything above 60 psi. And 80 psi is a whole different level lol.

Well my search continues. After returning the cordless Milwaukee air compressor I bought a Viair 88 with the 7 pin connector. The biggest issue I have with Viair portable air compressors is that I have to open the hood and connect to the truck battery before I can do anything. So I thought the 7 pin connector would work better. I got some information from Viair before I made the purchase. They told me it would air up my truck tire from 60 to 80 psi in 3 minutes. I inflated my truck tire from 50 to 70 and it took 5 minutes and 29 seconds. That’s longer than both the Milwaukee and Dewalt battery powered compressors took. Also the air hose won’t reach my camper tires from the back of my truck. Yes I know I can order an extension hose but that would make the performance even worse. This unit isn’t going to work for me.

Thanks for all the comments and feedback!

I bought this to keep in the truck. I've used it a few times. I bought it because I have/use the Bauer batteries for other tools. You have to keep your hand on the trigger, which is kind of annoying and because the inflator hose is short, you'll be stooping. I keep the collapsible step stool right next to it. I also own a HALO portable jumper unit with air compressor (4 years) It works well, but takes some time and gets hot.
