We have a strong storm getting ready to smack the Carolinas, and I thought I would give the RV a once over. While rolling up the awning I began to wonder how it was wired and I am glad I did.

The power connector coming out from the side of the RV was not caulked well, so I went ahead a sealed it up.

I thought I would pass this on, since it is not a normally looked at spot..

Happy travels...

Good catch with a storm coming. I have plugged this hole a few times. It seems to reopen as we open and close the awning, so keep an eye on it. I have not come up with a good method to seal it.

For any tough flexible permanant seals I would use 3M 5200 fast dry. Super flexible and almost permanent. Don't use on your roof! The small annoying holes that sealants just seem to not want to hold is what I use this for.
