Not sure what I have but 317RLOK was plugged into shore power two weeks ago and noticed refrigerator was off I checked the breaker but I wasn’t tripped but as soon as I cycled it off and back on the refrigerator came back to life, purchased a new breaker and switched that one out, just this past Thursday it appears to have lost a leg on the main breaker, bedroom outlet was off fridge was off but my AC units were still running, and had lights, again main breaker was not tripped but as soon as I touched it power was restored, the converter never kicked in , I’m at a loss for what might be going on , anyone experience this or have any thoughts, your help is appreciated!

Based on your description, the touch you mentioned was just that and not a cycling of off and back on again. With that in mind I would suggest to disconnect from shore power (all power) and inspect the main breaker. It is possible to have a loose connection that would be visible with the wiring and it is also possible that the breaker is not well seated into the panel's bus. If it is not well seated then the contacts for the breaker to the bus and the bus tab that holds the breaker could be in bad shape and if so I would suggest to replace the main breaker and clean up the bus if you see any discoloration or signs of arcing. It is also possible if there was arcing\burning between the breaker and the bus, that the bus tab that holds the breaker could be damaged enough where it cannot be cleaned up and would need to be replaced. You can only determine that when the breaker is removed and visually inspecting the bus tabs for the breaker. ~CA

Ok I have not found anything obvious, pulled the breaker no visible arcing or discoloration on the buss, the wires also were found to be tight, I also checked the torque on all the connections back to the outlet for the shore power, the surge protector is located behind the load center I also checked the torque on those as well, I just purchased a new 50 amp breaker next thing is to swap that out, any other thoughts? Thank you for help !

I have encountered a breaker that was likely defective internally and a slight touch would allow it to provide current through it again however, most of the time a cycle off and back on would be all that was needed. I would change the breaker though based on what you have shared earlier. ~CA

Thank you to Craig and Kevin, I have switched out the breaker hopefully that’s the end of this trouble! LOL can’t even guess what’s around the next corner
