Hi all, hitting up the forum for advice. I have a 2019 Redhawk25R that owned since 2018, lived full time in it for one year and have had very little issues with it to speak of. Last night, while at a county park in Miami, our power went off/on instantaneously. It happened twice, about 30min apart. I have the 30amp, Hughes BT watchdog surge protector, plug in version. It never tripped or set a code. I’ve already changed my transfer switch about 3 years ago, after a meltdown, I’m thinking my converter/charger could be going, but not sure. I did monitor the current and it never went below 120V, but I didn’t stare at it, it was 4am when this happened, I went back to bed.
We are currently back in our permanent RV park, (for the next 3 months), I’ve been plugged in for 7 hours and haven’t experienced the above issue, and I’m “currently” at 115V here. Hard to troubleshoot intermittent problems! They are the worst! Or maybe there isn’t a problem and the parks power itself was the issue. I didn’t stick around to ask anyone around me.
I’m thinking of just buying a new converter/charger, just to have on hand, since we are living out of the RV while we are getting our S&B renovated.
What y’all all think?
