I have a 2017 Pinnacle 36ktps and just went through the freeze in south Texas. Now my button to open the roof vent just clicks. I can climb and open it but I think the motor must have froze. There is a small amount of fluid that seemed to have come from the motor. How would I find out the model number to get a replacement? I have looked in all of my paperwork and that is the only thing missing......Thanks

Is it the kitchen vent or bathroom vent?

You can test the to see if the motor is getting power all from the inside. Remove the inner trim, locate the motor and it should have a connector about 2” from the motor. Disconnect and check for voltage when pressing the button.
The other possibility is that the remote is bad or the control panel in the fan. All should be fairly easy to replace.

The motor is getting power, It beeps like it is supposed to when i push open on the control panel and the fan works on all speeds from the control panel. It is just the vent cover doesn't open from the control panel, it just beeps. There was an oily stuff around the opening knob when I got up there. Maybe the circuit board??? can that be replaced or does the whole thing needs to be replaced?

The control board can be replaced, as can the motor. Not a difficult task and can all be done from inside the rig. You just need to know (or have a good parts guy) the exact model of the fan.
If the knob is directly connected to the motor, probably good to start there. Motor is held in by 3 screws. When removing, be careful there’s a small collar on the shaft which can fall off, don’t want to lose that.
