Precept 31UL Slideout issue

I’m having a slight issue with my dinette slideout. The left side lags behind the right side. To a point that someone needs to operate the button while another pushes or pulls on the slide out. No problems coming in just going out.

I would appreciate some perspective on this issue and where to look for the slide mechanisms and motor.

You may have a bad slide motor or it’s possible the slide motors may just need to be resynchronized. It is recommended to always keep the slide button engaged for a few seconds after either fully deploying or fully retracting the slideout to keep the motors synchronized. I don’t know if your coach is still under warranty or not as I don’t see the year in your profile. At any rate if there is a reputable dealer in your area give them a call or you can call Jayco Motorized CS and ask their opinion.
Hopefully another member here can provide some insight. Slides are great when they work and provide a lot of extra living space. I have never personally experienced any issues with mine but after reading about others I always hold my breath when I am moving the slides in or out. Good luck.
