Precept Prestige Nautilus wet bay panel question

Hello,

I have a 2019 Precept Prestige 36u (2 bathrooms, 2 black tanks). On the Nautilus wet bay panel, I have the "tank flush" garden hose connection. I also have a B and B tank flush valve off to the side of the panel. Do these both serve the same purpose? Does anyone have the same set up and can provide me with their preferred method for flushing the black tanks?

On the wet bay "tank flush" garden hose connection, I'm assuming that if I hook my hose up, it will fill/flush both tanks. Conversely, it appears that the B and B allows me to pick black tank #1 or black tank #2

I'm just looking for some guidance and direction before I go spraying water through the poo tanks. This is my first rig with the wet bay, 2 bathrooms and the B and B valve.

I've always just emptied the tanks, then use a bucket to dump 5 gallons of fresh water to provide a second flush. It's worked great for the last 20 years, but with the options to do everything from the wet bay and not go back inside the coach, I'm thinking it's time to accept technology and the upgrades :)

I have a 36C. The B & B selector allows you to pick which tank you flush. It wont do both at the same time. I'll dump a black tank, then follow the dump with the water from the gray tank. Close both black and gray and then fill/flush that black tank 3 times. Then put Liquify and 2 to 3 gallons of water in that tank. And repeat for the other black tank if used. I use a flow meter to see how much water I'm putting in the tank so I don't overfill it.

I appreciate the info Alex! I was just a little confused as the wet bay panel has tank flush connection too (the black hose connection in pic). I attached a pic of my panel and you can see the B and B valve in the lower left corner of the picture.

Just my 'sperience in this area FWIW. The flush system on my 31UL (bought used) there at the Nautilus panel is just really wimpy ........ v e r y slow flow rate, very little spraying noise, etc. My old WBGO had an aftermarket spray fitting a PO had installed on the side of the black tank that was a hurricane ..... not my Jayco though (access to install one just isn't there.) I bought Camco's system (+ a flowmeter) and that really does the job...... I recommend it for anybody who has a similar problem. Ya gotta remember the cardinal rule though....don't leave your post for ANY reason when backflushing the black tank! lol

Wow! I paid $45 just a coupla years ago. https://www.amazon.com/Camco-Blaste...e65a4b666&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9idGY&th=1

Good times and safe travels, all.

CT,
The black hose connection on the panel is where you connect the garden hose to fill/flush your black tanks. The selector valve just lets you pick the tank. This is not associated with the white input for potable water.
