I have a random question. Had a 30 amp outlet installed for tt. Had to drill a hole through garage wall for line to come out. I have to seal around where the plastic conduit pipe comes out of the concrete wall. Can I use proflex? Or should i just buy some dap clear window and trim caulk. I dont want to put white caulk as it will stand out. Alreadybhave proflex on hand but didnt know if it will bond to concrete for a waterproof seal. Thanks

It says ceramic and concrete bonds and stands up to flex. I would not use it if you are attempting to anchor the wire into the hole but if no strain it should work perfectly.

I would lexel caulk, home depot and maybe lowes.
Its waterproof and flexible and can be applied in damp or wet conditions. I did use proflex but switched to lexel.

Ill second the Lexel recommendation. I run a commercial painting company thats been in business for over 40 years. We've used every caulking on the planet. Some I use because they are cheap. Some I use because they are specified by the architect. On my own personal projects, I always use Lexel. It's an amazing, versatile sealant.

Per Lexel....you use mineral spirits to smooth it. Zero drag and the run is longer than soap could ever attempt. That's my 20 years worth of 2 cents.

Interesting, I just read on the sashco site that soapy water works, even Windex, oh, as does mineral spirits.
So, we are all correct.

Tried them all over the years in production settings manufacturing custom mold forms. soapy is best for acrylic based sealants. alcohol works best on silicone based sealants. mineral spirits on urethane based sealants. All the water clear sealants are single stage urethane based. Much improved results by using a mist spray of mineral spirits and smoothing rather than dipping a finger. Like my signature says, experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.
