Propane Tank Gauge

I use 20 lb portable propane tanks instead of my RV tank.

I have a gauge attached to the tank but it goes from full to empty instead of in segments so it is really hard to know how much propane is in the tank other than monitoring my activity. I have sadly taken more than one cold shower.
Any suggestions about a reliable brand of gauge?

Why would you not use the RV tank? Because you would have to transport it to fill up location?

Sounds like your gauge is the pressure type. Those monitor pressure which doesn't change until you are running out of gas.

The best gauge type is the "float" type. I have a couple that I use for my BBQ and to refill my 5 pound tank (with float gauge) that I use when camping for my Blackstone.

These gauges work exactly like you want just like a car's gauge.

Not sure if this is true but I was told that the wood cabinets were made by the Amish. I do know that whether they were or not the quality is awesome...

The Amish do most of the cabinet work for the RV industry in Indiana.
