Look at this pic that was on my site plans to anchor my Rv carport to the ground. Carport was certified for 150 MPH wind since I upgraded to 12 gauge. Hurricane Michael ripped the six rear and side anchors out of the ground causing the entire structure to fly away and crumble. Rest of the anchors are in ground but the washers on the bolts bent letting the bolts pull thru anchors.
Here is my question. Looking at site plan for a 22 ft wide carport the anchors should be 48 inches. The ones used were 30 inch. If I read this correctly that would only give 110 mph protection to a 22 ft wide carport and only give 150 mph protection to a 12 ft wide carport. Tell me I am reading this correctly and the company used the wrong tiedowns.
