Question regarding sealant/caulking and my roof

We recently had our Winegard 360+ antenna damaged in a hailstorm—totally wrecked the dome that covers the antenna. So, I bought a new one and installed it on my roof in about the same place as the damaged one was located. Caulked all the screws and the rim of the antenna. It’s tight as a drum, and works perfectly. Now the issue: a couple of days after finishing this project I went up on the roof just to check it out—all around the rim of the antenna dome, where it makes contact with the roof membrane was very “puffy”, underneath the Dicor self-leveling sealant. When I finished the installation of the new antenna, the roof membrane was snug to the roof underneath it. It’s been four days now, and it’s still the same—maybe a little less “puffed up”. Is this normal, due to off-gassing from the sealant, or is something more sinister going on? I was so happy with myself at being able to do this job, and now a little disappointed in what the roof is doing. Thanks all!!

It has been many years ago but I have seen the "puffing" on an EDPM roof when using Dicor but don't recall ever seeing it on a TPO roof. I would give it some more time and it will probably continue to decrease. That's my thought.

Thanks!

Thanks for the response! I’ll just keep an eye on it for now. Hopefully, the gas or whatever is pushing up the roof membrane, will go back to normal.
