Questions on the Furion cameras on a Pinnacle and others

I installed the Furrion with the side cameras. I think it has a very poorly displayed picture. They should be ashamed of selling something with such a bad picture, especially for the price. You can get a clearer display from an add on Kmart back up camera for a lot less.

My 2024 Pinnacle 36FBTS came with the cameras. I tow with a 2024 GMC 3500 dually. As others have stated, I needed a converter to plug the Furrion monitor in inside the truck. I find the cameras useful for monitoring what is behind me, checking the status of the bikes on the rack behind the RV and adding to blind spot coverage. It is especially useful in backing the RV into the storage unit I use. The screen takes up some space in the cab of the truck, but overall, I found the camera valuable on a 5,300 mile trip this summer.

We're really close to buying a 2024 Pinnacle 38FLGS. We have not seen the one we're buying yet though. I'm having trouble finding the correct info on the cameras. The dealer is telling me the Furion cameras are an option to be purchased by me. BUT they had a new Northpoint there that was equipped with the side and rear cameras from the factory. My question is does the Pinnacle come with the cameras as standard?

2nd question is I have a 2024 Silverado. Will the Furrion cameras use the screen in the truck or do I have to run a extra dash mounted monitor??

Lastly my truck 2024 Silverado dually is completely stock. Do you think I will need to add air bags or another supplemental suspension upgrade?

I appreciate all answers. I've pulled campers for years but never anything this large. + I'm not getting any younger and need every advantage I can get!

TIA

I have the simular model in the 2024 38fbrk. The cameras are extra cost. You have to use the monitor furrion suplies with the system. I have a Ram 2500 with the surround camera I installed the wired cameras all around also. It's much better cameras. I am thinking about changing the cameras they call a security camera system with Haloview cameras because they can record vs the furrion can't.
I installed airbags on my truck but for a 1 ton you probably don't need them. Fully loaded I'm about 7klbs on the rear axle and the truck handle it very well.

Thanks for all the replies. Everyone’s opinion has been very helpful.
Our unit came in yesterday and we did a cursory inspection we go back today to pick it up.
What I’ve gathered is buy aftermarket cameras not the Furrion.
I may have to add some type of suspension assist.

Again thanks for all the input.
