Completed the lighting above the bed. Huge difference when wanting to read at night. I put much needed lighting in the cargo hold so I don't have to use a flashlight to find something at night anymore.

Also installed a Blue Sea 6006 battery shutoff switch in the battery box. I did have to get a size bigger battery box so I had room on the interior of the box for the switch terminals. Nice thing was the welded battery box tray was just the right size to hold the larger Camco battery box. Fit like a glove.

Wolverine,
What light did you use for your cargo hold?
I got some stick up light from Walmart, but wasn't satisfied with them.
Looking for a different approach.

Thanks,
Doug

What type of fixture did you do in the cargo hold area? I want to add something to ours too. did you add a switch by the door to turn it on?

THanks

Thanks for the follow up Wolverine,
I will have to look into these.
Hopefully I have a 12V wire near by to tap into.

Best regards,
Doug

Nicely Done! I want to do all those mods to our trailer. I have a few questions for you. Did you change the wire going to the
electric jack to a thicker gauge? Also I noticed in your storage area that you added a round plastic pipe. Was this for a sewer hose?

It all looks great. I have a question on the battery box. Where did you get the bigger box? Thanks!

The the wire was already a thicker gauge on the jack when I got the trailer last October.

The last two Jayco's I have had came with sewer hose storage. The PVC pipe you see connects to a door on the outside of the trailer for easy access.
