Rear backup camera wire path

Does anyone know which path the backup camera wire takes from the dash to the camera. I have followed the wire from the dash, down the drivers side door sill, under the RV to the battery box, then across the frame to the passenger side and then I lose it right in front of the rear tire. It doesn't come out behind the axle. Does anyone know what path it takes to get to the top, rear of the RV?

So I followed the wire today, to replace it with a voyager cable and higher resolution camera and this is how it runs:

It starts behind the radio
Over the steering column
Down drivers side kick panel and under the sill plate And through a hole out of the cab
It then is dropped on the step supports
Runs rear on the drivers frame rail
Crosses over frame around the battery box area to the passenger frame rail
Then drops down under rv floor in the large wire loom, and then over the axle and fuel tank
From there it is not in wire loom and goes to the passenger side rear corner and then up between the exterior fiberglass cap and finished interior to the top and the across to the center

Hope this helps someone else in the future

Thanks for the post. I am not wowed by the rear camera. Wondering why you didn't use the existing rear camera wire and just upgrade your camera? I haven't looked close at camera so maybe this isn't possible.

Hope it is similar on my 2017 37TS. Having trouble with the rear camera flickering, scrolling or just plane blank screen.

My original plan was to use all the existing cameras and wiring and just add the voyager screen. I was told all the cameras were voyager and should be plug and play. I confirmed the side cameras were voyager and started the project. Note to self, next time check all of the cameras.

The rear camera is a cheap Chinese crap camera, it uses the micro 4 pin plug and cut a wire for mirror image or parking lines. It didn’t use the voyager standard wiring/plug so that’s what forced me to rerun the rear wire. The thinner original camera wire, Cheap camera and cut off plugs I think all contributed to the flicker and poor image.

Thanks for info. Upgrading cameras on my 2016HJ is on my long term plans so info is helpful. What year/model do you have?
How hard was it pulling wires up thru back cap?

I have a 2021 37TS. The hardest part of the rear cap was the wire getting “pinched” in the top corner as it was pulled up from the bottom toward the middle camera hole. It took some feeding from the bottom and using electrical fish sticks through the rear taillight hole.
