Can anyone recommend a good dry lube for my 5er hitch? Also should the slider rails get a shot of dry lube as well?

Thanks for the feedback, guys. If the manual says not to lube the slides, I won't. No problems with them, just thinking "Preventative Maintennance". I have a Reese 16K hitch and I think either of the above recommended products will be good for it. Just didn't want to stumble onto a bad product, so I will look for these.

If you have the standard hitch you would use the dry lube for the moving parts under the hitch head. You would have to remove the pivot pin and turn the head upside down to spray all moving parts. If you are speaking about the area between the kingpin and the hitch then I would use the Teflon plate. This is a much better way to go than using grease.

Yes I have the teflon plate...wouldn't pull without one between the kingpin and hitch. I was just concerned about the moving parts within the hitch itself. Thanks for the info...
