I am looking for info. My refer does not work on battery power. Shore power and generator it works great. I have reset the inverter and the main power switch. I have looked at all breakers and fuses. All my lights work and bathroom fan works just not the refer. I cannot seem to be able to get an appointment around here until February. If anyone else has had this problem what was the fix?

It might help if you tell what refrigerator you have and where you have tested for voltages and their results. Otherwise it is hard to even make a wild guess.

I believe Pipa2024 has a 2023 Jayco Swift 20 t

Here is the owner's manual and on page 49 the refrigerator is mentioned that it uses only 3Amps on 12Volts (not very much) and in more detail on page 86. It appears the refrigerator should be empty (and off/door propped open) when traveling and turned on when you arrive at the campsite.
There is no mention of the manufacturer in the manual, but it sure does say it runs on 12Volt/battery power.
If you don't receive proper answer from this forum post, I suggest you repost and use a title such as; "2023 Swift Refrigerator Question". While waiting, check your fuses and circuit breakers... turn each off/on. Sorry I cannot help more.

Something does not seem right? Even if your on shore power or Gen. your fridge is working off your batteries. My understanding is it's a 12volt fridge.??

Norcold DE105

Good Morning, if you do have a Swift 20T then the refer is a Norcold DE105 12V. If the only time it works is when your AC then either they didn't wire up the 12v or the fuse is blown. You shouldn't need the inverter at all since it's 12V but when it has both 110v AC and 12v DC coming in, it will use the 110v. I would try on battery only with the inverter off and see if the refer works. If it doesn't then check the 12v fuse panel to see if the fuse has blown.

If it's blown, double check you don't have a bigger problem because mine and others have report that the kitchen sink drain has leak on top of the refer. I caught mine in time before anything happen to my refer or other kitchen appliances.

I have a 2024 20T and the frig is enabled any time the Battery switch is on. Obviously you have to turn the frig's rotary thermostat switch to 1-5 to turn it on, 0 being off. I do not have to turn the inverter on for the frig to work. On shore power I have the batt switch on, inverter off, and it still worked fine. The batts were kept charged as well.

That’s good to hear. It’s a great refrigerator. Hopefully you’ll also now see less power usages too with it running on 12v. On that, I usually have the 110v circuit breaker turned off for the refrigerator so it will only run on 12v even if the inverter is on. I do this because the refrigerator will use 110v over 12v if both are available.

This is copied from the brochure.
3.1 cu.ft. AC/DC refrigerator (20T)
This frog works good. I have to be careful not to freeze everything. Im in Florida and have it set to 1-1/2 And it's very cold.

I wish there was anyway of turning the light off when not using and keeping the door open for venting.
I use packing tape to hold the switch in. Maybe I'll install a bypass switch someday.

I can't remember if the 12v panel has a separate fuse for the refrigerator, but other than the tape option, I would just pull the fuse.
