Has anyone removed their outdoor kitchen sink on a 2022 267BHS? Jayco changed the sink from a pullout drawer design to a permanent fixed-position design. We do not like it at all, it is too easy for the kids to splash water all over inside the compartment or to leave the faucet on and flood the camper. I want to know if it is an easy process to terminate the drain, and hot and cold waterlines. We would like to open that area up for more useful storage for outdoor items, like storing our Blackstone grill and other items we use for eating at the outdoor table.

I'm sure it's easy enough :) just disconnect water supplies and the drain then remove the sink cabinet. Cut the pex pipe on the other side of that compartment if you have access and cap the lines with sharkbite/push-on fittings...cut drain and cap it as close to the wall as possible or better yet, cut the 1 1/2" abs on other side of compartment and cap it. Not sure you're removing the fridge also, but the floor should be finished under there. You could line the walls/floor with some type panels to cover holes and utilize the power from the fridge if you really want to go nuts  That will be a nice size storage....maybe a shelf or two

Thanks Glamper, this will be one of my early spring projects. The kids love to flood out that whole compartment with the excuse that they can't see the sink while they are washing their hands. We plan on keeping the fridge for the kid's drinks.

Not hard at all.
Just a little time consuming.
I had a similar setup minus the sink. Connections should be capped off without much trouble.
Then just design space to your liking.
If I can locate my pics I will post.
