The ceiling fan in the bathroom leaked significantly after a few days of rain in my 23b. The floor, ceiling and wall are soft and need repaired. I haven't tore into it yet and am wondering what the inner construction is like.

Are there wood joists in the floor? What's the structural material like in the walls, floor and ceiling?

Any insights are appreciated.

I don't have your model but most are 2 x 2 sidewalls and equally thin roof rafters with 3/8 or so plywood under the rubber roof. Jayco has a lot of videos on how the roof is made.
I did a Google and came up with several under Jayco roof construction.

If you contact Jayco CS it's likely they will send you schematics of the items your dealing with. Have your VIN ready.

I have a 2010 23B and I have a similar problem but my leaks are from the rear bunk end, it's a common problem with the bunk ends. I found that the latches have a rubber pad and it was worn out. I bought some 1/4" rubber material and replaced the rubber pads. One corner was a little looser than the others and I had to make that pad double thick by gluing a second pad on top of the first. I also found that the outdoor outlet by the door was installed crappy and I had to replace the outlet, the box, the cover and properly seal it. Next the roof vent was leaking and I had to get on top of the roof and reseal the vent. it's all fixed now and at sometime in the next year I will deal with the floor. The outside walls I got behind the cabinets and dried t out. I might do more with the walls later. I found that he trailer will be an ongoing project.
