We have a 2024 Entegra 24B and are looking to replace the pop-out windows with sliding windows. Has anyone done this and if so, what brand or where did you buy them?

We can't stand these pop-out windows. Our dining area windows got caught by the wind at highway speeds and broke the mechanism to open/close it. Now we're traveling with Gorilla tape on them to keep them closed.

It was on this forum or another one that I read it was recommended never to travel with the pop out windows open. All my R.V.'s in the past have had sliding windows except for our current Greyhawk. Comparing the windows I would never want sliders again. To each his own

We weren't traveling with the windows open... but the wind managed to get up in there and break things.

You're not talking about those emergency exit windows are you :) I would consult Jayco about any replacement windows. What are the other windows in your RV or are they all pop out? I kind of like the pop out/awning style especially if its raining. That broken one should be under warranty no?

The ones over the dinette are the ones that blew open on the highway. We do not like these type of windows and would like to replace ALL of them with sliders.

I appreciate all your comments but my original question was asking if anyone has done this and what brand or where did they buy them. I don't want to have the broken ones fixed, I want to replace all of them.

Sounds like you really want to do it :) Again, consult with Jayco for hopefully a same size window option or whoever made the windows. Pretty sure you don't want custom made windows $$ or want to enlarge openings. Btw, you must of forgot to lock it for it to open on the highway...also pretty sure no one has replaced their windows in a brand new RV :)

Yes, we really want to replace them and wanted to before this trip. This just sealed it for us. I know many others have complained about the lack of air flow on these types of windows so I was hoping someone had replaced them already.

The good news is DH was able to fix the broken window.
