Trying to find a nice campground halfway between Columbia
Falls Montana and St George Ut These are about the right mileage
But some of the reviews on each were less than favorable. Has anyone
Stayed at either one or have any recommendations for a night or two in
that general area?

I would avoid the Lava KOA as it is usually crowded and has very tight camp sites. If you are willing to travel an additional 30 miles south of Rexburg there is a very nice campground in Idaho Falls, the Snake River RV park. Very easy freeway access.

Thank you, I read the reviews they were good. I'll be booking a spot this week for our return trip from Montana. I want to stay a few days and look around. Wasn't thrilled with them charging for dogs but I'm sure they have their reasons
