Hi all I have a 2019 145 RB last year we developed a leak around our vent fan in the bathroom We had our dealer install a roof vent cover that while it was being installed, I observed that they installed the cover backwards. Long story short I want to replace the roof and the wood behind the AC unit I plan on a whole new roof membrane and replace the wood that is damaged.

Can someone recommend a good quality system I am a carpenter I am going to install the roof myself. Thanks ahead time

If the area is not to big I would carefully/neatly cut the rubber and peel it back. Then make the wood repair and simply Eternabond it back in place.

I have replaced all the Dicor on my roof with Etearnabond. Found as I removed the Dicor missing and rusty screws. The rust indicated the Dicor was failing but no wood rot found. Now I inspect and clean the roof each spring and sometimes in fall and no failures of the Etearnabond found.

Thanks, I think I am going to replace the entire rubber roof. I didn't like how the existing is getting brittle on the edge. Since it is a small camper I need to remove the roof top AC to replace the wood I want a good rubber roof and sealant

Of i was putting a new roof on, I would seriously consider having a sprayed on roof. A former coworker had a white Rhino or Lynx done locally. There is rv specialty spray on roofs like RV Armor.

I do not know a lot about RV roofs. What I do know they are ultra thin and tear easily. My new SOB that is on order has a PVC roof. Sounds like it is easy to patch when needed, with standard PVC glue.

It you go witha rool roofing, I would apply Eternabond anywhere possible.

Good luck, please provide updates and images if possible.
