They got stuck because they weren't going fast enough. If they just floored it they would have made it. After that you stop and walk back to pick up the AC unit you left lying in the street at the beginning of the tunnel and duct tape it back on.

Regardless of the type of sign, that's a good idea. Those folks who rent RVs are less likely to be aware of clearances than the regulars - and we still make mistakes.
