This is a product review for teh Epever dual bank 20a solar controller.
I installed one of these Epever solar controllers on my pontoon boat almost 2 years ago. I only have a 50w panel mounted on the back of the boat so this system acts like a trickle charger with around 2A in direct sun. I also installed a remote meter that shows me battery condition, etc. but honestly, I never look at the meter, the controller just plan works. Never had a dead battery in the almost 2 years the pontoon boat has been on the water. I have not had to add much water to batteries in that 1.5 years either.
What is nice about this is you can wire it independently charge 2 batteries. I have mine set to first charge my trolling motor battery, than when that is full it will top off my starting battery. in your motor home it could charge your coach batteries than your starting battery.
Its only rated at 20a so I would limit it to 400w of solar.
(I used to keep my 2018 MB sprinter MH fully charged with only 100w and the Gopower dual bank solar charger that came with it so 400w should keep you going with a 12v refrigerator.) I don't recall if this controller can do Lithium.
price is under $40 bucks for the controller and around the same if you want the meter. (I see the 30a gopower dual bank controller is now $150 on amazon but it was a whole lot more than that when I bought this Epever.)
