Nice diagram! I've been educating myself about my power system 12V/120V on my 202 Precept. Do you know of a similar diagram for my coach? (50amp, 220V = 2 legs of 120V)

Hello,
No, I did not know that I could do that. However, I was scanning the posts when I found your diagram, while I was looking for posts regarding the "Main Switch" rocker switch. The momentary switch is located down low near the entry steps. I am not sure if this actually is a battery disconnect. Also, I would like to know where the solenoid/relay is located in case I need to service it. I've been going through my RV with a labeler, working on identifying as many serviceable parts as possible.

Spike 99. Question for you. While towing my Jeep to NY the lights on the toad stopped working. I’m thinking maybe the fuse? Which fuse would it be if you know. I see an emerg brake fuse for a toad on your diagram but nothing that powers the blinkers and break lights. Thanks

Do you mean Converter? I don't think your TT is equipt with an Inverter, at least it's not listed on Jayco's website.

Has This Diagram Been Updated For Newer Models?

Recently, I've been seeing a few questions about 110/120V and 12V wiring questions. "What powers what and how a `customized` Power Converter can be installed?" type questions. With shared info from their many replies, I created a little diagram. Some folks (like me) understand white board diagrams much better then text words. Hopefully, the below diagram helps others as well.

Also: If below diagram can be improved (or corrected), please send me a PM (Private MSG). I'll update my MASTER with needed corrections / improvements and with Forum's Admin's help, update this thread.

Is this still the same for a 2017 29MV class C? This diagram is 10 years old and the private seller gave me the impression that ALL 110 sockets were connected to the inverter.

No power from Battery

I have a new 2023 JAYCO WhiteHawk 27RB I picked up on Saturday. When I got home on Sunday and tried turning some lights and other items on inside the TT with only running the battery, I had no power. I made sure the battery disconnect was on and checked all my breakers and still nothing. I bypassed the battery disconnect and still no power. I’m guessing I may have a blown fuse somewhere between the battery and switch, but I can’t find one anywhere. Does anyone know if there is a fuse and if so, where would it be located?

Fuses for..

Hi,

I'm looking at the notes and the diagrams. But, I'm not seeing what I am looking for. Might just be me.

There are two external storage bins with doors on them and lights inside of them outside the 2020 22J. I am almost certain I popped a fuse for one of those while changing over from hot lightbulbs to LED lights.

I'm wondering where the fuse for these lights is? I am 99% sure it's not inside the fuse box inside the living area.

I'm hoping someone could answer with, "it's the one under the dash" or "it's the one in the engine compartment" and then maybe an idea as to which one. I see there are about 30 under the dash...and pulling every single one to check seems like a bunch of work if someone already knew.

Unless they've changed things, those lights should be on the house side, not the chassis.

On my 2020 Redhawk 29XK, the red wire (it looks like 12 gauge) that leads to a small red thing, suddenly decided to burn off its insulation! Any ideas as to why? And what is that red thing and what does it do?

The first thing I'd do is pull out the LED that doesn't work, and turn it 180*, and plug it back in. Some LEDs are polarity sensitive, and only work plugged in one way. Also, might be a bad LED out of the box. Just a thought or two.

The red device is a circuit breaker. Some are automatically resetting after several minutes of cool-down when tripped. It may have malfunctioned or corroded internally, but you definitely need to find out if you have an overload or short and replace that circuit breaker and wire with the same gauge if it's factory. The amperage should be stated on that part. It really appears someone tapped onto it for power to something. If it was something the PO installed, they may have done a poor installation. You're very lucky it didn't start a fire, by the looks of it.
