I think my door is not perfectly align...as most of the time I need to pull on it from the inside to put the lock in place....
Has anyone installed this lock on a Greyhawk 30Z or a similar Jayco Class CRVLock Atlas Gen 2 installed successfully on a 2024 Jayco Precept 31UL! Yeah!
Can you explain this a little more? We will be getting ours this week and want to make sure there are no issues. Are you saying when the back plate is put on the J lines up automatically with the bottom hole?Hi all,
So not finding a replacement j-clip with a nub i looked a liitle harder at the
atlas lock and back plate.
Come to find out that pin actually enters the bottom hole of the back plate
(thus bypassing the need to move the bottom of the J) The upper part of the lower J enters the rectangular hole above the bottom 1.
So bottom line, sorry for some useless information.
The product works as reccomended, it was a reasonably simple install (just
don't overthink it, my bad)
I'd reccomend this product to any 1 who can use a screwdriver.
This is the best video i.ve seen
BTW i had no calibration nut and np with install.
Thanks
Pete
Thank you for your help! We installed the new RV Lock in literally 5 minutes. Easiest upgrade we have done. Have been using it the last 2 weeks flawlessly. So glad they finally came up with a compatable one for the Alante.Hi Sim,
Yes, dont worry about the J. the important piece is the silver pin at the bottom
right of the j (highlighted in green) it go's into the bottom hole of the back plate,
The upper part of the j that turns inwards goes into the rectangular hole of the
back plate( drew a black line to it)
Hope this helps
Pete
