I am having a problem plugging the 9 pin connector into the diagnostic connector. Any tricks? I line everything up and push hard but it's acting like the pins are to big to fit in. Don't want to bust it

My ScanGauge connection has two ways (sides) it can plug in, make sure you are using the correct side!

Thanks for the information. The pins were very tight but I finally got it on. It would fall off with the slightest pull. Put some tie wraps on it to secure the connection and it works perfect.

I ran my cable up the A pillar and made a small bracket that hangs just below the small overhead bin. Ill add a picture in a bit.

Would like to see your mount. I've got my tire minder up there already next to the overhead bin so was wondering about a place for the Scan gauge assuming I find value in it. I honestly think Trans temp might make it worthwhile but was looking for more "support".

Simple auto adhesive tape to the underside of the bin and on the gauge. Snaked the wire from behind and made a small notch on edge of headliner to accomodate the cable.
