The exterior light on my 2017 Jayco Precept 35S seems to have burned out. Any experience in removing the cover and perhaps installing a little brighter one? Can’t seem to find how to take the cover off - no visible screws.

Palms,

If that is the oval shaped light above the entry door then the cover pops out, held by a tiny rim around the edge. Push up from the bottom edge and flex the cover just enough to release the rim. I usually use a small screwdriver working carefully not to break the lens.

I replaced the standard automotive lamp with one that has 36 leds on it. It’s brighter than the original but not bright enough so I’ll be adding a 15’ led strip below the awning wired to that light.

Having said all that, if you have a different light I’m probably not going to be much help. My previous fivers had round scare lights on both sides but I don’t recall changing bulbs.

Followed the advice and carefully removed. Bulb burnt. Ordered 2 (1 as spare) 40 led flat panels that connect to an adapter from Amazon. Should all ready to go as soon as received. Thanks!
