Did this before the snow hit. 001.jpg003.jpg Sure does make those flimsy doors feel a lot stronger. Had to modify the smaller door handle to make it work.

We got so sick & tired of that dumb door ( it the best the mfg's can do) we got a " magic mesh" door. It took some mod's to it to make it fit but it works great. Larry

I got mine off Amazon. Just punch in "RV screen door handle" and it will pop up, along with a lot of other options. I ordered 2 of them along with a water heater bug screen and got free shipping. Note: I always check Tweetys first because of their Forum sponsorship. They had the same price as Amazon [ $13.62ea.], but wanted more to ship [$13.90] than the part cost. I'll order from Tweetys if their within a couple of bucks, but these were a no brainer. It's hard to beat Amazon or E-bay because of their low or no cost shipping.

I saw one the other day at a rummage sale here in the park. I didn't know what it was so didn't buy it. Could have had it without any screws for $2.

My DW purchased this for our camper last spring. She couldn't wait for me to put it on, had to be at the campground. Good thing I take the cordless drill and had a couple bits in tool box, luckly the right size. WOW, what a difference, no more fumbling for the tiny handle. She bought ours at Camping World.

This was the very first "mod" I did when we bought our trailer. Put it on a little crooked and the Mrs. still laughs every time we pack up the trailer. She says it's very "me," whatever that means.

It works great though, and if you keep the trailer slightly off-level, ya'd never even notice!
