I bet this is simple as all, but I can’t figure it out. How does that brush sweeper come off at the bottom of the screen door? And where can I get a new one?
Thanks 🤔

I had an issue with my door sweep because it had a 1/4" gap between the brush edge and the bottom frame......, mosquitoes/ants loved the opening. The OEM door sweep is part of the screen door frame and don't recall how it was attached..., but I know it's not adjustable. I couldn't find a replacement source at that time.

I purchased a standard vinyl door sweep and cut length to suit, leaving the existing brush door sweep in place......., no more gap.

One like this:

Yep same here. The brushes don’t even touch the sill. Kinda worthless. Glad you found a cure. I’ll probably do these same.
Thanks for your suggestion.

I’m having a similar problem. The piston that keeps the door from flying open or slamming shut causes a permanent gap in the brush.
The rubber door sweep is a good idea. But how would that work with the door piston at the bottom?
