I bought the Werner Baker style scaffold for maintenance on our Seneca and finally got around to stretching it so it would fit over the front nose for washing. With some measuring, I found that 1.5”x 2.5” x.120 wall rectangle tubing layer right in the side channel of the beams. I cut the beams in half and welded it in the channel of the beams, I also added a flange along the top edge out of 3/4”x 3/4” angle iron to hold the platform in like the original beams do, then cut a piece of plywood to fill in the platform Worked out great and doesn’t have any flex at ll in the beams....even with me on it
should make washing the front cap MUCH easier. Just finished up polishing and Ceramic Coating the last section today.
