Seneca Rear Hubcap Removal

Not sure on how to get the rear hubcap off. Can't tell if the acorns are dummy or real. Would appreciate any guidance. Thanks!

Your coach should have come with a plastic wrench that fits the hex on the center cap. Drivers side is LH thread, passenger is RH thread, you might be able to use a large adjustable wrench if you don’t have the plastic one, or pick one up online.

Thanks for the reply. Our wheel wheels are different. My center emblem is fixed.

Those are the (discontinued) Dicor wheel covers. They are held on by two of those chrome "nuts" on the cover. Most of them are decorative only, but the two that actually retain the covers (front and rear) have indents near the bottom of the nut, that is how you know which ones to remove. They will be 180-degrees from each other. Don't twist on the other decorative nuts!

Jayco supplied a T-wrench to remove them, but unless you are the original owner and know where it is, you will have to procure and use a 1-9/16" socket to remove them. You may need that socket anyway if a tire shop has ever worked on your rig since they tend to really tighten them down.

Thanks Rob. That's a different indent from the indent on the front acorns and is why I probably missed it. Eyes ain't what they used to be

Sorry, the first pic you post looked like it had a hex on the end of it. I can see in the second pic that it doesn’t.

NP. I just polished the rims and realized the first pics reflection made it difficult to determine that the center emblem is fixed.
