Doing a little annual maintenance on our 2018.5 37K Seneca. I have resealed the end caps front and back without issue. I am wondering how the fiberglass roof section attached along the sides. I am talking about the vertical seam you can see along what I would call the drip channel that runs along the perimeter on both sides. I see flex cracks where the fiberglass roof meets this railing. I have probed this a little with a putty knife and the material is quite firm and looks like a very small bead running along the perimeter. At the factory the obviously painted over this after putting on the roof. My questions of the group: 1) is this a joint? 2) If it is does it need an over-application of some form of sealer? I doubt that Dicor self-leveling is a good choice as it would probably fill the drip channel. Not sure if silicone would stick well. Thoughts, or suggestions appreciated. Photos of the starboard rear corner are attached.
