Hello Everyone,
I'm new here, hope to be here a while with you all.
Currently I have a big problem I hope someone can help me with.
I own a 2018 Jay flight Baja edition. It is double axle, 24 ft total length.

I live in eastern NM. I noticed on my last outing that a panel on the right side, as you face the unit, was bulging out as I increased speed on the highway. When I slow down it returns to it's place. The Panel is above the window and is not in line with the window.

When stopped there are no signs of the panel being bent, as in being damaged. Also you cannot pull up on the panel as it is strongly in place.

I have not taken the unit down any rough roads. There has been no damage to the body of the camper and there does not appear to be any signs of water leaking from on top of the roof.

Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks,
lalo

Bulging side panel

I had something similar on my 2017 23RB. My TT has aluminum siding which works by nailing one edge of the siding and the next row is latched to the row below it which covers the nails of the row below. The factory assembly missed nailing a part of one row which allowed the siding to bulge out at speed. It finally popped out one day. I was beyond the 2-year warranty and Jayco said they would be happy to repair as long as I wanted to pay. I found a local traveling RV repair guy who fixed it for me.

look about the 2-minute mark and you can see how it is assembled and I was wrong they start at the top.

Repairs

Thank you for your reply, it really helps. How did they repair it ? I thought I could place some small screws along the bottom of the section that is coming out.

Bulging side panel

Mine was on the driver's side front so the repair guy took off the plastic trim piece from the front and took the siding loose from the front back to where the bulge was and then nailed it back on and clipped the panel back in place. It took him about 3 hours. The video below may give you an idea of what is involved.
