Slide causing floor damage

The large kitchen slide on my 2017 317RLOK became sluggish and slow while extending. When I returned from the trip I notified my dealer and he had me bring it down the next day. They inspected it and sad it was very tight on the fridge end. Not sure what very tight is but I took it home and when I opened the slide it was much smoother, but, and there often seems to be a but, there was a tear in the flooring about two inches long and one half inch wide.


Has anyone here had this same issue and if so is it a complete floor replacement to make right?

In the mfg. they are not given time to adjust everything correctly, seems the dealer has to do that.

It's a 2017 I'm sure this wasn't his first trip.

It was not the first trip, seems to be something that occurred during my past trips. Worked okay the first trip out this year and the several I took in 2017.

Found the problem, a screw that attaches the theater seats to the slide out floor was approximately 1/4 inch longer than should have been. None of the other fastener screws were showing through the flooring. Apparently with the adjustment to the slide out it was enough to cause that side of the slide to drop enough to allow the screw to gouge the floor.

If that's the case, the dealer that adjusted the slide is responsible for the floor repair. Simply put, they didn't FINISH the job..which includes making sure it's operating properly.
