Okay so here is the thing. My boyfriend and I bought a 2015 Jayco Eagle 321RLDS and we are so excited! This is our first time owning a camper so we are very new to everything. We got to our camper today and got it plugged into shore power. We are currently using a converter from our 50amp cable to let us plug in a 110v to the house we are parked at for now. We got the one small slide that has our fireplace and outdoor kitchen out no problem. We went to get our other slide out with the couch and table and one of the 2 beams under was moving but the other one would not budge. I know it sounds weird. We were thinking that it’s a power issue because we couldn’t find any access panel under the trailer to find the motor for that beam. Has anyone had an issue like this? I can post a video of what it is doing tomorrow when I get back to the camper. Any help would be helpful!!

Without knowing what system you have it’s going to be very difficult to make suggestions. I’m not sure what you mean by beam.
It could be that you have a one motor system, and the two tracks with teeth have a gear on each with a shaft connecting them. Bolt could be missing at the joint. It could be that you have two motors and the wiring to one had been damaged.
It could be you have one good and one bad motor. Just too many possibles without knowing what it is. Maybe you have a book on it that came with the RV?

Welcome to the world of glamping when everything works that is :) I think you're talking about a rack and pinion type slide system that uses two steel rails/beams no cables. I'm not 100% sure but I think there is one motor for both under the RV...you should be able to get a manual from here if you don't have one. How do you know only one is working? The slide must have started out then jammed itself. I would bring that side back in and try again with someone pushing on the slide or locate the manual crank via a manual...u-tube and goggle your RV for help, maybe there is two motors. You also need a good battery to operate slides...not sure your fully charged plugged into 15 amps via an adapter? Good luck...more help is on the way from here.

My 2011 has Dexter center drive thru frame slides. You can look at the LCI website and they bought Dexter slides sometime after mine was made. The Dexters work similar to the new LCI thru frame slide.

I have had problems occasionally with the bolt shearing off on one side of the motor. Mine has a patch cut into the underbelly that can be removed exposing the motor and drive assembly.

Another poster suggested a method of helping the slide by pushing on the side that is not moving and matching the working end. That works.

Keep me posted as I have worked on mine for 12 years and it hardly gives any problems. I have several threads on here with pictures. I'll have to search for them as it's been years.

Had you ever opened this slide before this problem or was it the first time you tried it? Some trailers use a bar or piece of lumber to "lock" the slide in place while going down the road so it does not start to open while traveling. Ours does not but from what I understand it is placed at the top of the slide once it is closed.

@1 the OP, please come back and tell us what's happening with your slide and avoid being a pet peeve of ours :) Kidding of course but we would appreciate it!
