State of Confusion
SWMBO and meself went up to Blade RV today to pick up out White Hawk. One of the reasons it was there was due to the slide making a bit of noise when retracting it. The service manager told us that it was a bit dry of lubrication and they had to cut into the underbelly to be able to lube near the motor and a roller. We have been lubricating everything that can be seen when the slide is out.

The point of this thread is to ask why Jayco would not leave some kind of access to to a lubrication point? Well, at least there are now as I can see where the tech cut open the insulation and taped it back up.

FYI, I asked him what type of tape he used and he literally stated a product called "underbelly tape". Found it on amazon:

I would read up on the slide maintenance procedures. My owners manual says nothing about lubing anything under the underbelly.
