Slide Out Grease?

Do you "ever" grease the slide out? If so, what do you use? I have a 2013 X23B ...

NO GREASE! Use a dry lubricant only. A grease will attract dirt and eventually cause problems. I use a PTFE based spray, same as I would use on my bicycle chain.

I spray the seals with silicone lube every year, along with the weather stripping on my truck. Keeps them clean and prevents drying out or sticking.

As for the gears and toothed tracks for moving the slide in and out, I haven't touched it. But in my trailer, all moving parts including the motor are inside the trailer under the couch so nothing is really exposed to the underside like most big slides are.

I buy the slide out lube from the dealer as well as rubber seal spray. When I traded my 2011 eagle in a few months ago the rubber seals were still soft not dried out from the sun and heat. The slides never had an issue.

I looked at the slide this year for the first time on our 2013 X23B. I had lubed the seals as part of my maintenance every year but didn't pay attention to the mechanics of the slider. I found out that it's not like a large slider. The one I have sits on two plastic rollers and rolls out when actuated. I did spray dry lube into the rollers though. The rack and pinion of the slider didn't get anything but an inspection.
