Slide out issue.

I'm looking at a 2001 EAGLE that has a slide out issue. It works going in & out as long as you do not pause. If you pause, the slide has to be manually finished opening or closing. Could the motor gear be getting worn?

Not sure about a 2001 model, but most new/newer campers with the Schwintek or similar slides will do the same and are supposed to be opened/closed without stopping or they go out of sync creating the situation you describe. The one exception I know of, our camper has one, is the rack and pinion system, they can be paused with no harm

I agree, but they shouldn’t need to be finished manually. All should go back the way they came so you can restart the retraction or extension.
