Is there a way to tighten the tension of a slideout awning? The one over my kitchen tends to fill with water and sag when it rains.

I did a search on YouTube, but all I find is replacing or installing new awnings, not repairing an existing one.

About 30 minutes ago I replaced mine due to tearing at seam. I'd think that it would need removed and roller wound around another time then reinstall. This would put more tension on it.

I believe someone on this site made a support to stop that sag using PVC pipe. Sorry, but I don't know where that topic is.

I really don't want things like beach balls and supports. That may well for a rig sits for long periods of time. I would rather fix the actual problem.
