Small roof tear, x18D

Looking for a good method to patch a small tear in the roof, about the size of a penny. Just noticed, probably a puncture from something falling from the trees. Little bit of water coming into the cabinets over the dinette, location matches up with the tear.

Suggestions for a quick patch? Leaving for 1st trip in 2 days. Thanks!!

I just repaired a small tear on my roof. I called the dealer to find out what type of roof I had and it turned out to be the ALPHA system. Picked up some self-leveling caulk for ALPHA system roofs from our local dealer, trimmed the torn material away, clean the area, and globbed on the caulk. Oh, and I called the dealer and had them record that the tear was there from, what I believe was, the day of purchase. Another good reason to get up on the roof before you take delivery!

Eternabond tape. Read up online on their web site on how to prep the area. For all practical purposes its a permanent patch.

I had a similar size tear two years ago, but from a ladder. I first used a piece of electrical tape, until I got the proper supplies. It stuck to the roof really nicely. I then bought a small amount of Etarnabond tape. It works really nice, and now I keep a small amount in the HTT for emergency repairs.
