We would like to have a little more space between the sofa and counter in our 22fb. I would like to extend the 2x2 wood frames that the sofas steel frame sits on so we could move the sofa back about 3’’ towards the wall of the bedroom. I realize this would prevent us from folding the sofa into a bed but that is okay. The part that concerns me is screwing two woodscrews into the corner to anchor the frame extension and possibly hitting some of the wiring. I don’t see anything in the archives but was wondering if anyone else has done this.
