Solar Panel Recommendations

I know this has been beaten to death, but I am on the hunt for a starter pack.

I'm wondering if anyone has ordered this kit from Renogy?

I have also had my eye on the Coleman at Canadian Tire (goes on sale for $199 sometimes) even though it needs a controller

I would just be using it to top up my 2x6v batteries in my littel 174BH after running furnace fan and led lights. No inverter involved to run AC devices.

my only thought is that if you add any more panels then your stuck, I myself am looking at buying up to 60 amp, controller in case I add another panel , I just need to find someone to install panels on the roof, my wife will not let me climb any more

I installed a similar kit by windy nation. (I liked the controller better) Works great to keep the battery topped off. You can always add additional panels with that 30 amp controller. I believe it can handle at least 300 watts.

You want a MPPT controller NOT a PWM.. so that lets both of these out.. and go with the 30 amp controller so you can expand your system
