Since Starcraft is a Jayco brand with many similar models and due to recent requests from Starcraft owners this thread was created for them. There are several Starcraft owners here on the forum, so post pics, descriptions, questions or comments about your rig here.

Thanks Lee, you da man. We are scheduled to take delivery on a 2012 Starcraft Autumn Ridge 309 BHL this Wed. We are trading in our 2011 Forest River Surveyor SP-260 on this unit. We are going to have MUCH more room and MUCH more natural light in the Autumn Ridge. From what I've read about Starcraft and Jayco, this should be a good unit. Just have to do a complete walk through at the dealer before taking possession.

Hope you take some pictures and post them when your rig comes in. It'll be neat to see an Autumn Ridge 309 BHL.

Don't have any pics handy, but love my 2010 Autumn Ridge 246RKS

Here are its specs

So far been a good trailer. I did my the converter from the back of the trailer to the front so that the batteries can get a charge. But a lot of manufacturers make that silly mistake.

Kyle, good to see another Starcraft owner here. We should pick ours up Tues. or Wed. Then only one week to "play" with it and pack it then off to Stone Mountain GA. for 4 nights!

New Starcraft 235FB

First time TT owner and taking delivery of the Starcraft 235FB this Saturday, the 24th.

Looking forward to following the forums for opinions and advice as I am sooooooo green to rv-ing having done the tent thing for years.

Nice to find some Starcraft owners, hope I made a good choice.

We actually picked ours up today ::woohoo:: The overall quality appears to SO much better than in the Surveyor we traded in. Screws on the Autumn Ridge where there were staples on the Surveyor, better wood, ect... I'll post some pics as soon as I get some taken and uploaded.

@airborne8: You made a good choice. The Autumn Ridge line seems to be very well built. If you have a family, you can outgrown that one. We had our Surveyor SP-260 for exactly 1 year and we traded up for more room. Our history went--tent to popup to TT to larger, better TT. We love the room in the 309BHL. It's me, my wife, two girls and usually one of their friends. Now we have room for extended family also.

lunatech,

Basically it's just me and wife, occasionally a couple of grandchildren.

It will probably suit our needs fine, if not, maybe the grandkids will have to do the "tent thing" lol.

Airborne8,

That's a real nice trailer you're getting, perfect for you and the DW and visiting grandkids!

You will be impressed with the quality of Jayco/Starcraft. You definately made a good choice!

What are you towing with?

I "almost" grew up camping. Started out with a 1969 12' Coachmen Pickup Camper. Now that was fun. Putting 4 kids into one of these, best part about this camper was the LP gas lamp.... From there went to an UNREAL 1986 Terry 365 5th.

Moved away from home (some would say took too long, but I had a 5th so hey...) get a family of my own. In 2003 got the camping bug that I had as a youngster and picked up an Antigua 195CK. With a family of 3 young kids, we would take our Antigua anywhere, pulled by our Ford Windstar. We bought an enclosed screen room and that camper was the best. I miss the Antigua, but love the Jayco SuperLite!

That is a good looking trailer and will be perfect for you and the DW and the occasional grandchildren. Have fun and enjoy. I don't think you will be disappointed in you decision. We started packing ours last night and are really, really impressed with the overall quality of build and fit and finish.

New Thread?

Is there a place you can start a new thread pertaining to Starcraft TT's?

Bear with me as I'm not real computer savvy anf totally green about TT's.

Thanks.

Right now this is what we have. Crabman was nice enough to give us this sticky to gauge the interest in Starcraft's. If there is enough he hopefully will give us our own forum.

Ask away. If I can help ya I will. This is our second year with a TT so I somewhat new myself but I research everything to death so I might be able to help.

Aside from decals is there anything specific about a Starcraft? Just my opinion, but if you have a Starcraft 5th wheel question / issue, post in the 5th wheel section, same with hybrid's, TT's and what not, it certainly increases the visibility of your question / concern.

Maybe put a sticky at the top of each forum with a Starcraft to Jayco cross reference chart.
Example:

Lexion S-Lite to Superlite chart

295RKSA - 29.5RKS
295RL - 28.5RLS
315BSSA - 31.5RLDS
319BSLT - 30.5BHLT
319FBH - 31.5FBHS

One of the main differences I see between Starcraft and Jayco is the one and two year warranty, respectively. I have to wonder what the reasoning is behind that considering they are almost clones with only different graphics, interior decor and a few other minor differences. As said for now just post any technical or trailer specific questions in the proper forum regardless of brand.
